At the start of December last year, Viktoriia contacted me and asked if I would like to meet with her at the Christmas market in Frankfurt to take some photos at different spots there. She already had some ideas and as they sounded really cool I accepted and quickly we found a date where we could meet. Fitting to the event, it was quite cold that day, so the right atmosphere was also present. On my way to the market I took the opportunity for some street photography, by taking photos of passerbys and to try out things, to see how I can implement Viktoriia’s ideas. These I want to show you first.
It was quite full, as it was a sunday and of course everybody wanted to go to the market that day, but we where able to create some space at the different spots to take the photos. At first we stopped at a carousel, as one of Viktoriia’s ideas was to have a photo of her still, but with a moving background. They turned out quite good. We made a stop at a candy stand, as well as at a stand where you can buy mulled wine to warm up a bit. At some point, people passing by stopped so we could take photos. Also some of these photos where made spontaneously, just out of the situation. In the end we stopped at a sort of carriage to take some sensual photos and finish a really pleasant and funny day.
